Sometimes cleaning out your closet is about more than making space, it’s an opportunity to help someone else. If you’ve lost weight, changed jobs, or your kids have simply outgrown their clothes, consider donating those gently used items to a local ministry like the Denise Skinner Clothing Closet. I’ve had the opportunity to meet the woman behind the Jar Ministries program, and she is an incredible person who is working hard to make a difference in our community. And it’s not just clothing, many of these local ministries also welcome food and other necessities. So, if you have a pile of clothes waiting to leave your closet, this could be a pretty great place for them to go.
